The Shenandoah Arts Council's facility at 811 S. Loudoun Street provides:
- A gallery for the visual arts
- A venue for the performing arts and classical films
- A stage for children's theatre, music, drama and dance
- A place for authors and poets to share their work
- A forum for lectures and special programs
- A facility for arts receptions and events
- A site for arts organizations to meet

Current Exhibition:
Barry Vance, Winchester, VA
"Dwelling in the Backcountry"
April 13 - May 17th, 2008
Each of the 24 paintings in the exhibition is accompanied by a passage selected by the artist from literature, poetry, music or historic journals, including work from Willa Cather, Louise McNeill, Wendell Berry, Thomas Jefferson and more. Opens on Sunday, April 13, from 1 - 4 pm.
SPECIAL NOTE: APPLE BLOSSOM HOURS The Gallery will NOT be open Friday or Saturday, May 2 & 3. We WILL be open on Sunday, May 4, from 1 - 5 pm.
