A CALL FOR ART​

In honor of National Veterans Month, we invite veteran artists from our community to submit artwork for an upcoming exhibition dedicated to showcasing and celebrating their creative voices.
​
This exhibition is open to veterans of all military branches, working in any medium—painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, fiber, ceramics, digital art, or anything in between. There is no theme beyond uplifting and recognizing the diverse creative expressions of veterans. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or sharing your work for the first time, we welcome your submission!​

All mediums are accepted
Artwork must be ready to hang with D-rings only.
NO SAWTOOTH HANGERS OR EYEHOOKS. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO NOT ACCEPT ARTWORK UPON ARRIVAL.
SUBMITTING PHOTOS:

All photos must be cropped and labeled in the following format:
****(example: Van Gogh_Starry Night_oil painting)***
If they are not cropped, well lit and labeled properly, they will be disqualified.
Important Dates:

Entry Deadline: October 19
Notification of acceptance: October 26

Art Drop Off: November 2nd 3-5PM, November 3rd 4-6PM
Art Pick Up: November 24th 4-6PM
Opening Reception: November 7th (First Friday), 5-8PM
Exhibition Date: November 4 - November 23

Non-members: $40

If art is not picked up on the provided dates you will incur a cost of $5/day for up to 7 days. After 7 days, all artwork becomes immediate property of ShenArts.
