Old Town Winchester, VA is a beautiful venue for a festival with dedicated crowds and wonderful staff and volunteers. We hope you will apply!
The Shenandoah Arts Council (ShenArts) is proud to present a 2-day, juried, fine art festival, showcasing the work of artists from all over our region. Located along the pedestrian-friendly walking mall from Piccadilly St. to Cork St., visitors will have the opportunity to discover handmade-in-the-USA, original works of art across every medium, along with music and see a special flash mob event.
ShenArts’ careful vetting process ensures the finest and most diverse offerings of sculpture, pottery, jewelry, photography, mixed-media, painting and more to suit every artistic taste and budget.
This special showcase is situated on Loudoun St, including the Taylor Pavilion in Old Town Winchester.
** ShenArts Fest will take place rain or shine.
**All booths will stay up for the duration of the event and security will be provided.

Notification: You will receive an email by July 15, 2024 if you are accepted.
Application Costs: Members $30 | Non-members $40
Taxes and Insurance
**Each vendor/exhibitor is responsible for collecting and reporting all Local and VA State sales tax associated with their sales. **Each vendor is responsible for paying their own taxes.
**Vendors insurance or coverage through a personal Homeowner’s policy is recommended by the Festival’s organizers. Vendors may be asked to submit a certificate of insurance.
Equipment – All tents must be weighted down to allow for the possibility of wind.
Staking into the pavement, tying tents to trees, or anchoring to buildings are NOT permitted.
**A minimum of 40 lbs. weight per tent leg is recommended for all tents. Failure to anchor tents appropriately will result in immediate removal from event without any refunds.
*It is not the responsibility of ShenArts or volunteers to provide tent weights or weather proof your booth. Please come prepared.
SUBMITTING PHOTOS
All photos must be cropped and labeled in the following format:

If they are not cropped, well lit and labeled properly, they will be disqualified.

ShenArts Fest is committed to providing a safe environment. In addition to our Rules, guests are required to adhere to all local, state and federal laws and to follow any instructions provided by police, fire and medical personnel at the event.
** Cancellation deadline is August 1, 2024. No refunds can be given after that date, no matter the reason.
