Event Overview

​​ShenArts is hosting a unique fundraising event on Thursday, October 24th giving member artists the opportunity to exhibit and sell their artwork. The event will be a ticketed party hosted inside a homeowner's residence (791 Johnston Court, Winchester). The homeowner will select 30-40 pieces of art for display and sale. ShenArts will manage all sale transactions on-site and retain a 20% commission.

​Submission Guidelines​

 

  • Submission by Email: Send below requested information and images to joan@shenarts.org.

 

  • Submission Requirements: Artists should submit a photo of up to 3 pieces of artwork along with art piece title, size, medium(s) used and price. Available only to current members of ShenArts. If you are not a current member of ShenArts, sign up HERE

 

  • Art Type: Juried admission—homeowner will select 30-40 pieces.

  • Art Preference: Any medium or combinations, including 2D and 3D designs (sculpture, furniture). 

 

  • Size Consideration: No specific size requirements, but artwork should be appropriate for residential display.

Display Requirements

​

  • It is recommended, but not required, that paintings be displayed on a stand or easel provided by the artist. ShenArts has a limited number of easels and a display board available on a first come first serve basis. If your easel is paint-laden, consider covering it with a sheet.  

 

  • Presentation: Art will be sold as it is presented (e.g., framed art will be sold framed).

  • Marketing Materials: Artists can display business cards and/or brochures if attached to their stand or easel.

 

​Attendance

​

This is a ticketed fundraiser event with limited space. Only ticketed guests may attend. Artists are encouraged (but not required) to purchase a ticket and enjoy the evening. Click HERE to purchase a ticket.

​Selection Process

The host will select 30-40 pieces for display and sale. Notice of acceptance will be delivered via email 1 week after submission deadline.
