Annual Youth Art Exhibition
ShenArts proudly presents its annual juried exhibition in celebration of Youth Art Month, showcasing talented K–12 artists and the dedicated teachers who encourage their creativity. Students from public, private, and homeschool settings are invited to participate.
All artwork selected for the exhibition will also be considered for the ShenArts ArtScape program. Up to three pieces will be chosen for reproduction as ArtScape banners to be displayed throughout Old Town Winchester beginning in June 2027!
Celebrated nationally each March, Youth Art Month highlights the important role art plays in education and youth development. Through creative expression, young artists strengthen their problem-solving, observation, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
Every March, Youth Art Month highlights the impact of the arts on education and youth development. ShenArts joins the nationwide effort to promote art education, fostering creativity, problem-solving, observation, and communication.
ShenArts is proud to partner with the Handley Library to host this year's Youth Art Month Exhibition!
The exhibition will be on display at the Handley Library (100 W. Piccadilly St Winchester, VA 22604)

Participation in the Youth Art Month exhibition is completely free for young artists. Donations help ShenArts cover exhibition expenses and provide materials and opportunities for children who may not otherwise have access to arts programming.
