Painters of America. Still life painting is a worthy subject in its own right, but it also provides skills for improving
landscape, portrait, interior and figure painting. This demonstration will concentrate on mixing
and applying color with expressive brush strokes that lead the viewer to the focus. Strong
emphasis will be given to the painting process from concept to completion with an alla prima
method.
